| The legal counsel from the Southern Environmental Law Center
helps the Altamaha Riverkeeper understand the legal nuances of the
Clean Water Act, the Coastal Marshland Protection Act,
and how to use the law to protect water quality in our watershed.
It is only fair that every now and then we take the barristers from
the Atlanta office to the delta of the watershed so they can experience
first hand what they are working so hard to protect. These photos
were taken on their field trip with the Altamaha Riverkeeper to
Blackbeard Island, which is next to Sapelo Island, and in the Sapelo
Sound.
