This needless mess was spotted across from Miller's Lake in Wayne
County. We are often saddened to see that some people who
use the river don't seem to care much about its protection.
Please
make every effort to pack out everything you take in and prevent
scenes like this one. ARK sponsors Clean Ups and other events
to keep our river clean.
We also urge river users to take
plastic bags whenever they go on the river and pick up trash
and debris you find at the landings and in the river.
We must
work together to stop this problem on our river.
