Celebrate the bounty of the Georgia Coast- where the rivers meet the
sea- with oysters, clams, and mountain to marsh grass music at the Altamaha
Riverkeeper’s CLAM JAM 2007. Call your friends and bring a crowd!
The event on November 17 from 4-9 at Pelican’s Point in
Belleville,
will feature music, a silent auction, and great food and last between
4-9 p.m. Check out our musicians:
Noel Hamilton and H.E.R. Band & Dappled Grays Band >>
We need your help. Please contribute items or services for the
auction. This can be art, a boat trip, guided nature tour, stay in a
cabin, inn, or special hide away, a cocktail party or dinner for a group.
Be creative, we know everyone has something unique or special to contribute
to a good cause.
Georgia’s coast provides a bountiful array of
visual, cultural, and culinary delights. The purpose of the CLAM
JAM is to celebrate the good work ARK does to keep our waters healthy
enough to eat the seafood and raise funds to protect our special area.
One of the fun things we are planning is an oyster tasting of fresh
oysters from the Gulf Coast, Texas, and McIntosh County.
We have come up with some creative pricing to encourage more guests.
Table $1000: up to 8 guests, 1⁄2 page ad in program
Corporate Sponsor $2,500 up to 8 guests, full page ad in program
$75: per Person
