Roseate Spoonbill

Anhinga by Cindy Paulding— What makes her photography so special?

What makes photos by Cindy Paulding different from other pictures? Legally blind, she uses color, light, and contrast to guess where to aim her camera. Then she can see the basic image, digitally enlarged.

Cindy and her guide dog, Noki, travel together taking pictures and attending speaking engagements. The photos shown here were taken at Butler Island, near Darien. She enjoys answering questions and the opportunity to suggest a different way of thinking about people who have disabilities. Learn more about Cindy, see more of her photography, and read her inspiring story at: http://www.omagosh.com/
